First steps

For the first weekend we split up the work as following:

Vasil-Ionut - Set up a Telnet server, SSH server and SAN (Storage area network)
  Sarunas   - Set up a virtual router for the machine LAN
     Jan      - Set up a virtual router for the company LAN
 Tomislav  - Create and maintain the blog, gather information from the other group
                  members about how their assosiated work is going on, help them with
                  research and alternative solutions if needed.

The goal

The group thought a lot about what should the main goal of this project be and came up with the idea to use the teachers suggestion (fig.1) as a start point, but to focus on maintaining and showing the security flaws of the system and trying to improve it.

Communication
Team members will maintain contact with each other on a day to day basis during the applied project. That means that if a team-member is not able to show up, he should inform the team as soon as possible. The team has an obligation to
be informative about progressing being performed.
Decision Making
All team members of the team will participate in decision making equally. Each team members views will be taken into account and an
agreement will be achieved.
Conflict Resolution
Similar to the decision making norm, conflict resolution also has to take into account all team member view/opinions and issues will be
discussed as a team. If a resolution cannot be reached then they will be brought up with the mentor for assistance.
Leadership/Facilitation
The role of the team leader is to ensure smooth operation of the team members and fair work delegation between them and their selves’. All team members will work together to help each other achieve project goals.
Meetings (attendance, punctuality, meeting conduct)
All members of the team must attend all
meetings on time, and participate in and
add to its content. If for some reason a team member cannot attend a meeting, he/she must inform the person leading the meeting at that
time as soon as possible.
Problem Solving
Problems will become part of the agenda
and are solved during meetings with decision-making and conflict resolution norms.
Task/Roles
The main role of each team member is to
complete the work assigned to them according to the agenda. Each team member will help and
share knowledge with other members, and will complete tasks on time.
Other Important Team Behaviours
To ask for help when needed and to provide help when requested. To follow professional work ethics and integrity. Finish work on time or even ahead of time, and to the best of their ability.
